We’re excited to announce the release of Juriba DPC v5.13 (formerly Juriba Platform and Dashworks), with new features and enhancements that will improve your organization's end-user communications and ensure your data is always up to date. From improved visibility of email notifications to easier integration with on-premise data sources, this version is designed to make your job easier and your workflows more efficient. Let’s take a closer look at what’s new.
This release introduces a new email report that allows you to quickly and easily ensure that your important email communications are scheduled correctly and lined up ready to go. It allows you to confidently manage communications and troubleshoot issues before they impact your organization.
The new report has three views enabling you to quickly find the information you need. Here’s how it works:
Emails Due Next Run displays a list of all emails scheduled for the next mailer service run. Whether emails are set to send or excluded due to user opt-out, this view helps you to verify that everything is scheduled correctly. With intuitive filters, you can easily ensure that emails not being sent are excluded for valid reasons.
Emails Due Now view is similar to the Due Next Run view but it evaluates which emails would be sent if the email service were to be run manually now, rather than at the next scheduled run. Typically, the mailer service is scheduled to run at 1 AM to capture and send emails due “tomorrow” at the start of the business day. Running the mailer service manually before midnight would mean that emails due “tomorrow” wouldn’t be sent yet.
Emails Sent view displays a list of emails that have been processed, including those sent, attempted to send but failed, or not sent for any reason. This view provides a comprehensive history to help you monitor your communication flow.
Each of the views can be refined using the available column filters, to ensure you have the data you need.
Integration Connector can be used as a proxy for importing data from on-premise data sources into Juriba DPC either in cloud or on-premise. With this release we are introducing a new installer that makes it easier than ever to install and upgrade Integration Connectors. Check out the documentation for installation and upgrades for more information.
Ensuring that your data imports are configured correctly and running as expected is critical to keeping the data in Juriba DPC current and accurate. We’ve introduced several updates aimed at improving the creation and monitoring of data imports with this release.
The status for each integration connector import has been enhanced to show when an import is running, idle or disabled and a new column has been added to show the next scheduled run of the import.
The object count has also been updated to more accurately reflect the number of objects imported. For example, previously a Hardware Inventory import would only show the count of device objects but will now include the count of application objects.
Groups imported using the API now support relationships with objects from another import. This provides the flexibility to, for example, import groups from Entra Id and link them to users imported from on-premise Active Directory, helping you to maintain a cohesive and accurate directory across platforms.
Accessibility is a key focus for us, and with this release, we’ve made several improvements to enhance the experience for users who rely on keyboard navigation and screen readers:
Keyboard focus indicators: Improved visibility of focus indicators in menus, even in high contrast mode, ensures that users can easily navigate the interface.
Screen reader announcements: Changes to screen reader announcements to ensure they are contextual, providing users with clearer, more relevant information.
These updates ensure that users who use keyboard navigation or assistive technologies such as screen readers can access all features of the application.
